In case you want to reach us by train, it is only convenient from Florence Airport.

From Florence Airport – take the TRAM to Santa Maria Novella station (the Tramway is in front of the airport, newly built with connections every 10 minutes. Ticket costs € 1,50 and can be bought at the machines by the tram stop). From Santa Maria Novella you can take a train to Viareggio or Lucca directions: they are called regional trains, and always stop in Montecatini Terme – Monsummano. The closest village from Villa Alfresco is Montecatini Alto, 20 minutes walk among the hills to get inside the village, which is at the top of a panoramic hill, or 5 minutes drive from the villa.
