It is quite likely to wake up by the far sound of little songbirds, one of the biggest surprises at Villa Alfresco: our park is adorned by oaks, pines and other very tuscan tree essences, all of them most loved home to some of the nicest songbirds in Tuscany. So that is the soundtrack for breakfast, too: served under the Alfresco area, our breakfast is much enjoyed.

Salty and sweet, international and local, our breakfast is always freshly cooked and served, and everyday there is a surprise for our guests.

We’ve learnt that who choses to come to Villa Alfresco generally loves open air life and activities, such as walking by the hills, or biking around Tuscany: that is why we are well prepared to point the best tracks for them, either on paper or on gpx files, all around our area, with no need to take a car to get started.

Indeed, a very well structured net of trekking paths, from 3 to 40 miles, lays just around our villa, conveniently located on top of a central hill of Val di Nievole: but if our guests just want to have a ten minutes walk, they can easily reach the tiny and cosy medieval village of Montecatini Alto, just steps away from our place, and spend some time on the medieval walls or on the lovely “piazzetta”.
10 minutes more and they can reach theFunicular train: that is an old historical red train connecting Montecatini Alto to Montecatini Terme, by a 7-minutes-panoramic trip, simply amazing, most loved by all of our guests, and open everyday in summer season.

A day at the villa cannot be complete without some good time spent by our pool: completely renewed, heatable and amazingly big, our pool has a panoramic view over the valley, it is fully serviced with bathrooms, showers, changing rooms, covered areas and a chiringuito-bar available for our guests: a drink with ice is always a good idea by the pool!

Time flies at the villa, and the time for spritz or aperitive come surprisingly soon: the sunset by the pool is one of the best moment of your holiday, and everybody gather by the comfy chairs of our pool at the right time to toast to Italy, Tuscany and holiday: everybody is building memories to keep in mind for the future!

A decision for dinner must be made, and most likely it is Montecatini Alto: the piazzetta becomes like a tiny Capri at night, with little tables outside, and nice and cozy restaurants, with little lights and super wines just populate the area. Fiorentina steak, mushrooms, delicious pasta and some very good italian wine will make the rest: the perfect ending for a special day at Villa Alfresco.
